Remote pricing, also known as Corporate Capture, Merchant Tracking, Image Deposits, etc., is a non-physical check deposit service provided by banks. This technology is in the development phase. The remote deposit process includes issuing a bank check, scanning the check, and transferring the scanned image / ACH data to the bank. The bank considers the scanned data as a physical check and credits the amount in the beneficiary’s account.
