Nagasaki University and NEC OncoImmunity (NOI), a leading artificial intelligence (AI) company, have announced that they will collaborate to use NOI’s AI platform to design universal vaccines against highly pathogenic and tropical infectious diseases. Tohoku University and NEC Corporation (TSE: 6701) have started joint research on computer systems using an 8-qubit quantum annealing machine developed by NEC and Japan’s new windowNational Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).
