Typhoon Koinu situation report (4) **********************************      The Increasing Gale or Storm Signal No.9 issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at 7pm today (October 8) remains in force.      The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 29 temporary shelters in various districts and 162 people have sought refuge at the shelters.      As at 8.40pm today, the Fire Services Department and the Government’s 1823 Call Centre received six reports and eight reports of fallen trees respectively. Typhoon Saola situation report (10) ***********************************      The No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at 3.40am today (September 2) remains in force.      The Home Affairs Department opened 40 temporary shelters in various districts as at 9am and 505 people have sought refuge at the shelters so far.      As at 9am, the Government’s 1823 Call Centre and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department received 121 reports and two reports of fallen trees respectively. Typhoon Saola situation report (2) **********************************      The No. 8 Northwest Gale or Storm Signal issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at 2.40am today (September 1) remains in force.      The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 33 temporary shelters in various districts and 165 people have sought refuge at the shelters.      As at 9am today, no reports of fallen trees, landslide or flooding have been received so far.       According to the Hospital Authority, as at 8.40am today, no people have sought medical treatment at public hospitals during the typhoon period.

Typhoon Talim situation report (2) **********************************      The Hong Kong Observatory replaced the No. 8 Northeast Gale or Storm Signal by the No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal at 6.40am today (July 17).      The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 29 temporary shelters in various districts and 92 people have sought refuge at the shelters.      As at 6am today, the 1823 Government Call Centre has received three reports of fallen tree.
