External merchandise trade statistics for January 2024 ******************************************************      The Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) released today (February 27) the external merchandise trade statistics for January 2024. In January 2024, the values of Hong Kong’s total exports and imports of goods both recorded year-on-year increases, at 33.6% and 21.7% respectively. In June 2021, the values of Hong Kong’s total exports and imports of goods both recorded year-on-year increases, at 33.0% and 31.9% respectively.      In June 2021, the value of total exports of goods increased by 33.0% over a year earlier to $406.6 billion, after a year-on-year increase of 24.0% in May 2021.
