Canada – Seizure of contraband and unauthorized items at Archambault Institution
Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Quebec – Correctional Service Canada On October 15, 2021, as a result of the vigilance of staff members, contraband and unauthorized items were seized at Archambault Institution, a federal multi-level security institution. The contraband and unauthorized items seized included 206 grams of hashish, 300 grams of tobacco and three memory cards. The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $26,600. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) uses a number of tools to prevent drugs from entering its institutions.
