Springer Nature has acquired full ownership of the prestigious British Journal of Cancer (BJC). Launched in 1947 (1) as a general oncology journal, BJC publishes across the full spectrum of cancer research, covering molecular cell biology, genetics, translational research, clinical studies and epidemiology. Since the 1980s it has been published in partnership with Springer Nature (2).
