Canada – Seizure of unauthorized items at Dorchester Penitentiary
Dorchester, New Brunswick – Correctional Service Canada On October 15, 2021, staff members intercepted a package containing unauthorized items in the medium security unit at Dorchester Penitentiary. This seizure is the result of the combined efforts of correctional officers and security intelligence officers. The unauthorized items seized include 144 nicotine patches. The total institutional value of this seizure is estimated at $28,800. The institution is investigating.
