Steps taken by the Ministry of Power (MoP) and Central Electricity Authority (CEA) to ensure timely completion of Power Projects

The current Installed Generation Capacity in the country is about 394 GW which is close to double the peak demand of 203 MW. The following action/steps are taken by the Ministry of Power (MoP)/Central Electricity Authority (CEA) to ensure timely completion of Power Projects: MoP/CEA monitor the progress of under-construction power projects through frequent site visits and interaction with the developers & other stakeholders.
