NEC Corporation (TSE: 6701) has signed the “Business Ambition for 1.5degC Pledge,” aiming to keep the rise in global temperature within 1.5degC. The Business Ambition for 1.5degC Pledge is a campaign led by the United Nations Global Compact(1), We Mean Business(2), and the Science Based Targets (SBT) Initiative(3) that urges companies to set science-based targets aiming for net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050.
