15 persons sentenced for violating anti-epidemic regulations ************************************************************      The Department of Health (DH) today (May 25) announced that a total of 15 persons were sentenced by the Magistrates’ Courts in the past week (May 18 to 24) for violating the Prevention and Control of Disease Regulation (Cap. 599A).      The 15 cases involved 11 men and four women aged between 20 and 67. Nine persons sentenced for violating anti-epidemic regulations **************************************************************      The Department of Health (DH) today (April 6) announced that a total of nine persons were sentenced by the Magistrates’ Courts in the past week (March 30 to April 5) for violating the Prevention and Control of Disease Regulation (Cap. 599A).      The nine cases involved seven men and two women aged between 23 and 67. Three persons sentenced for violating anti-epidemic regulations ***************************************************************      Three persons were sentenced by the Magistrates’ Courts today (February 6) for violating the Prevention and Control of Disease Regulation (Cap. 599A) and the Compulsory Quarantine of Certain Persons Arriving at Hong Kong Regulation (Cap. 599C).      The first two cases involved a 43-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, who were earlier issued with compulsory quarantine orders. Before the expiry of the quarantine orders, the woman left the place of quarantine on July 11, while the man left the place of quarantine on July 26 and 30 last year. Thirty-five persons arrested during anti-illegal worker operations (with photos) ********************************************************************************      The Immigration Department (ImmD) mounted a series of territory-wide anti-illegal worker operations codenamed “Breakthrough” and “Twilight” for four consecutive days from November 6 to today (November 9). A total of 27 suspected illegal workers and eight suspected employers were arrested.        During the anti-illegal worker operations, ImmD investigation sub-division officers raided 39 target locations including Chinese restaurants, food stalls and restaurants.
