‘Police’ and ‘Public Order’ are State subjects under the seventh Schedule of the Constitution of India.  However, the Government of India, on 27.09.2017, approved implementation of umbrella scheme of “Modernisation of Police Forces (MPF)” for three years’ period from 2017-18 to 2019-20 with a total outlay of Rs. 25,061 crore which includes central outlay of Rs. 18,636.30 crore.  The scheme was further continued for 2020-21. Funds Under Atal Bhujal Yojana

Atal Bhujal Yojana started from the year 2020-21 and the program implementation is still under progress. During 2020-21, Rs.20.80 crore was disbursed to Haryana under this Scheme. Scheme is not being implemented in Andhra Pradesh. Funds Under DRIP Scheme

Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP) is a State sector scheme formulated to  bridge the funding gap and provide urgent finance to States for repair and maintenance of Dams. The scheme closed on 31st March, 2021. It facilitated loans from World Bank to participating states when they agreed to terms and conditions of the lending agency.
