Missing man in Kwai Chung located *********************************      A man who went missing in Kwai Chung has been located.      Leung Wa-shing, aged 82, went missing after he left his residence on Tai Loong Street on May 25 morning. His family made a report to Police on the same day.      The man was located in Kwai Fong Estate this morning (May 27). He sustained no injuries and no suspicious circumstances were detected.  

North Kwai Chung Jockey Club Swimming Pool reopened *************************************************** Attention TV/radio announcers: Please broadcast the following as soon as possible and repeat it at regular intervals: Here is an item of interest to swimmers.            The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (May 6) that North Kwai Chung Jockey Club Swimming Pool in Kwai Tsing District, closed earlier on due to a burst water pipe in the vicinity, has been reopened.

Kwai Chung Hospital announced safety incident of hospital facilities ******************************************************************** The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:      The spokesman for Kwai Chung Hospital (KCH) made the following announcement today (April 8) regarding a safety incident of hospital facilities:      A piece of false ceiling, which measuring approximately 60 centimetres by 31 centimetres, at the corridor of a female general adult psychiatric ward fell down last night (April 7). No.3 alarm fire in Kwai Chung (4) *********************************      A fire broke out at Container Terminal 1 in Kwai Chung at 1.31am today (September 8). The fire was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 1.41am, surrounded at 4.05am and put under control at 4.30am. It was largely put out at 5.25am.      Firemen used four jets and mobilised four breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.      ​      Two persons were self-evacuated to places of safety. Among them, one person sustained minor arm injuries.
