Jerome Myers Joins Board of Directors at United Health Centers

United Health Centers invites entrepreneur, business strategist and financial advisor coach Jerome Myers to become the newest member of their Board of Directors to support their mission of providing healthcare to underserved populations in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Now a sought-after business coach for financial advisors, Jerome Myers began his journey working a nine-to-five like many others. However, his desire to have a greater impact on the world led him to quit his job and pursue his dreams. A staunch supporter of diversity and helping minority groups overcome cultural barriers and build generational wealth, Myers supports programs focused on these goals. As a member of the Board of Directors for United Health Centers (UHC) Myers will have opportunities to help garner support for the program and ensure healthcare availability in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Pursuing his own dreams presented Myers with many challenging roadblocks to overcome, through which he learned invaluable lessons. He now shares his knowledge and experiences with entrepreneurs, financial advisors, and business professionals through one-on-one and group coaching, Masterminds, retreats, and the Line to Zion. These lessons have also been instrumental in developing his Holistic Transformational Life Coaching. Available only to close family and friends for many years, it is the foundation of Myers’ financial advisor life coaching.

“Throughout my career and my work as a strategist and coach for others, I have learned what it takes to realize goals and dreams, even when they appear unattainable,” stated Myers. “I am honored to be invited to join the Board of Directors of United Health Centers. I believe in their mission to bring healthcare to communities throughout Forsyth County, NC, and I am excited to bring my skills and experience to the organization and help them achieve their mission to build healthier communities through providing equitable healthcare.”

Founded in 2003 out of community efforts to meet the needs of residents in Forsyth County, UHC is the only Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the county. This unique status qualifies the facility to receive federal funding, provide enhanced reimbursement for patients with Medicare and Medicaid, and adjust fees on a sliding scale. With three locations, UHC provides patients with a variety of services at their facilities and through partnering providers, including:

  • Dental care
  • Comprehensive medical services
  • Behavioral health care
  • Substance abuse services
  • Hospital care

“One of the most exciting opportunities that I have as a successful financial planner coach is to give of my time and abilities to others. I get to help lift up people that may be struggling,” remarked Myers. “I am excited to join UHC in their mission to ensure everyone has the ability to get proper care regardless of where they live and their current financial circumstances.”
