Most of her career has been in Broadcast Television, where she worked for almost 40 years with most of them overseeing the stations locally produced and non-news programming. During her years in broadcasting, she received 9 Emmy Awards, 3 National Telly Awards, 6 PAB Awards and the National Parents Choice Award. The programs she produced allowed her to work in many countries. In addition to her television life, she is also a realtor, and spent many years as a professional singer. She has been married to her husband for almost 53 years and has a daughter who is involved with the criminal justice system and advocates for children and families.
