MKB and AVTODOM have launched a payment service by QR code
«Acceptance of payments through the SBP will allow AVTODOM to significantly reduce its costs. The commission charged by MKB for the crediting operation is only 0.7% of the payment amount», commented Philip Litvinenko, director of the department of transactional products and attracting resources of MKB.
Customers of AVTODOM can contact any manager of the company to pay for goods or services by QR-code in the dealership. The client can make a payment using a mobile device without contacting the cashier. It is enough to point the smartphone camera at the QR code, select the application of any bank participating in the SBP and confirm the payment to do this. In addition, the client can remotely receive a link with a QR code by email or SMS and make a payment.
«We are glad to continue our cooperation with MKB. We are working together with the bank to popularize this method of accepting payments to online channels and cash desks», commented Igor Chernyshev, IT-director of the GC AVTODOM.
