Sarika Bahroliya reminisces her ‘Paanch Mazedaar moments’ as &TV’s Gudiya Humari Sabhi Pe Bhari Ke completes one year!
Last year, &TV launched a fresh and homegrown narrative with strong local Madhya Pradesh flavour with ‘Gudiya Humari Sabhi Pe Bhari’. Ever since its launch, the show caught on with its viewers for its light-hearted narrative alive with simplicity and warmth of its protagonist, Gudiya (Sarika Bahroliya) – a Gwalior native chosen amongst the commoners to portray the lead in the show. Ever since there has been no looking back for Sarika! Her journey from Gwalior to Mumbai has been nothing less than extraordinary and memorable! From finding an extended family within her cast and crew to receiving immense love and appreciation from her fans, especially the Gwaliorites! As the show completes a year, Sarika aka Gudiya goes down the memory lane to share five of her best moments from the show!
Chatori Gudiya Ne Maari Talab Mein Chalaang! – Gudiya is known to be Chatori, who can never resist yummy food and can eat till her stomach explodes! To keep in check her excessive eating habits, Sarla (Samta Sagar) gets Gudiya to fast the entire day! Soon joining Sarla’s brigade are Radhe, Pappu and Sweety who do not let Gudiya consume any food the whole day. Upset with this behaviour, an angry Gudiya jumps into a nearby pond in revolt.
Mischievous Gudiya turns into a perfect Bandariya – With Sarla’s countless efforts in finding a suitable groom for Gudiya going down the drain, she decides to meet a Baba on her friend’s behest. While Babas are meant to give mantras and rituals, this whimsical Baba comes up with an unusual remedy, that is, turning Gudiya into a monkey for Eleven Days! Grabbing this opportunity to unleash her quirky side and make Sarla understand to give up on such irrational beliefs, Gudiya with the help of Sweety (Shweta Rajput) dresses up like a monkey. Mischievous Gudiya turned perfect Bandariya breaks loose with her antics, troubling everyone around till they understand the mistake they have made in believing the Baba!
The curious case of missing Bhauhen (eyebrows) – The entire household is busy prepping to welcome a suitable groom, coming to see Gudiya, but little do they know what lies ahead! While Gudiya is busy getting decked up with help from her sister-in-law, Sweety to meet the suitable boy, she accidentally applies a hair removal cream all over her face instead of a face pack, resulting in complete removal of her eyebrows. The entire household is shocked and does not know how to tackle this situation. But Gudiya in her usual bedharak attitude finds her solution to this unusual problem.
Jab Gudiya Aur Guddu Ka Hua Saamna! – Guddu (Karam Rajpal) is the new boy in town come to stay in the neighbouring haveli. He is a Bal Brahmachari and a wrestler, into a fierce wrestling competition with Matai (Kishan Bhan). The Gupta family openly welcomes the new neighbour and enjoys watching the match. But the next day, Gudiya, while freshening up, is surprised to see Guddu in the haveli belonging to Ballu, and mistakes him to be a thief, resulting to a huge argument between the two.
Gudiya accidentally slams Guddu with a Gadda – Guddu and Gudiya are always at loggerhead from the time he came to stay in the neighbouring haveli. Gudiya is hellbent to throw Guddu out and always plotting, but all her efforts go in vain. Guddu to teach Gudiya a lesson takes help from Matai, and in exchange, he promises to help him leave for Malihabad. To tease Guddu, Gudiya and Bantu try to steal his ‘Gadda’ but accidentally end up hitting him. Mauke Pe Chauka Marte Hue, Guddu pretends to be dead leaving Bantu and Gudiya worried and eventually fleeing from the spot.
