Birthday celebrations came in early for Rekha Rana this year with the arrival of a special gift on her special day. Getting presents on birthday are everyone’s desires and receiving gifts from fans are always overwhelming. One such gift from a fan was enough to overwhelm Rekha on her birthday when she received a photo frame of hers along with a sweet and heartfelt letter that came from the wife of an Army man from Kashmir.
Rekha recently starred in a music video ‘Saiyaan’ which depicted the separation of an Army officer from his wife and her life without him. The song and video heaped great appraisal from both fans and critics and was a big T-series hit. Rekha Rana’s performance in the song was praised all around and all over. But above all these appraisals was the gift that came in handy with her picture.
The letter was from Mrs. Sunitha Reddy, the wife of Major Reddy who’s posted in Kashmir which talked about how much she liked the video and was touched by the concept of it and especially Rekha’s performance in it.

This has just motivated me to continue doing what I do and keep delivering outcomes which will stay with the audience forever. Even after receiving so many awards I feel this would be the perfect reward for my contribution to make people aware of the women left behind at wars. This is the best Birthday gift one could’ve asked for. ” spoke Rekha Rana on receiving the letter.
Rekha Rana is a recipient of 35 international awards for the worldwide critically acclaimed movie ‘Tara: A Journey of Love and Passion’. Rekha is also the brand ambassador of the ‘Heart For India Foundation’ conceived and formulated by Princess Francoise Sturdza(Princess of Romania), which has provided education to more than 3000 children in the southern parts of India.
Rekha is now coming up with another music video which brings in light a fresh and a soulful song by music director Sujeet Sharma and under the banner of Christ Productions. The video stars Rekha along with Jay Harrison Crawford and is shot in Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood Hills and Marina Del Ray in Los Angeles. It’s an emotional love track portraying the grief of a girl on losing the love of her life and is expected to come out soon.
