MBAF’s Nicole Acosta Named Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce HYPE Award Winner
MIAMI (March 21, 2019) – Nationally recognized public accounting and advisory firm, MBAF, is pleased to announce that Nicole Acosta, marketing coordinator, has been awarded Rookie of the Year by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce at its annual HYPE Miami awards. HYPE Miami is the young professionals committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
After graduating from Universidad Iberomericana and Florida International University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing, Acosta joined the MBAF team in 2017. Not only has Acosta excelled at her role on the marketing team, leading nearly all of the firm’s community-related events like corporate runs, holiday drives and corporate challenges, but she is also on the executive committee for The Women of MBAF, an internal group that supports the professional development of women at the firm. Acosta also dedicates much of her free time to volunteering with the United Way of Miami-Dade and is on the executive committee of Lead. Impact. Network. Change (LINC).
The HYPE Miami Awards recognize Miami-Dade’s brightest young professionals – acknowledging innovation and outstanding achievement among young professionals that have made notable contributions in Miami. The Rookie of the Year award honors young professionals who have stood out during their first 12-15 months early tenure on the job.
