Orientation Day for Session 2019-20 organised at The Wisdom Tree School
The Wisdom Tree School, Noida Extension, organized an Orientation Programme for the parents of the newly inducted students at all academic levels. The programme aimed at initiating a harmonious learning process and familiarizing parents with the ethos of the school. The event embodied several interactive and engaging activities that helped parents in getting an insight about the curriculum of the school and its teaching pedagogy.
The function proceeded with Lighting of the Lamp and invoking the blessings of the Goddes Saraswati. The Prayer Song, ‘Hey Sharde Ma’ was presented by the students and teachers. The students performed Saraswati Vandana and Welcome Song. It was followed by a Nukkad Natak by the students of Grades I-II and planting of air purifying saplings by the parents. The Program came to an end with National Anthem. Meet and Greet session was organised in MPH so that new parents could interact with the new class teachers.
The Chairman, Mr. KK Srivastava addressed parents and raised the issue of being partners in learning. Addressing the parents, Principal, Ms Sunita A. Shahi reiterated the role of parents in shaping the life of the children. She exhorted for a strong unionization of teachers and parents to ensure wholesome transformation of children into confident, inquisitive and self-motivated learners and enthusiastic citizens who face the world with confidence.
