10K Entrepreneurs benefited by deAsra Foundation

deAsra Foundation, a not for profit organization aiming to support 25,000 enterprises by 2020 has benefited 10,000+ entrepreneurs till December 2018. These deAsra empowered entrepreneurs are from various sectors i.e. food, fashion, beauty etc.
deAsra Foundation was founded in Pune in 2015 by Dr. Anand Deshpande. It aims to kick start a mass entrepreneurship movement by making setting up, managing and growing a business simple and entrepreneur friendly through a broad array of support services. Solutions are provided by deAsra in the form of knowledge, guidance, tools and services, from business planning, to ensuring legal compliance and facilitation of loans.
Dr. Anand Deshpande says, “We must all try to pay back to the people in this world who sustain our lives. A good life should be divided into three parts- LEARN, EARN and RETURN”. With this intent of giving back (RETURN) to the society, Dr. Deshpande and his wife Mrs. Sonali Deshpande have put in place an ecosystem to support entrepreneurship through deAsra.
deAsra’s ecosystem includes training institutes, service provider partners, mentors, Udyog Mitras (business facilitators) supporting the online platform (www.deasra.in) through which resources and services are delivered. For first time entrepreneurs, looking to start a business, they have created business guides or templates for 70 businesses which provide a guided approach in 6 stages and 6 steps to start the chosen business. This encompasses bakeries, fashion boutiques, tailoring units, salons and snack centers, among others.
