Update on Caritas Medical Centre missing patient incident ********************************************************* The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:      The spokesman for Caritas Medical Centre (CMC) made the following update today (March 21) regarding a patient leaving the hospital without notification:      CMC has received notification from the Police that the 71-year-old male patient, who left the Medicine and Geriatric ward of CMC without notification yesterday (March 20), had returned home in the early hours of this morning.

Update on cluster of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus cases in Kwong Wah Hospital ****************************************************************************************** The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:      Regarding an earlier announcement on Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) carriers in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the spokesperson for Kwong Wah Hospital made the following updates today (March 4):        In accordance with the prevailing infection control guidelines, the hospital has performed tracing investigation. Update on Queen Mary Hospital missing patient incident ****************************************************** The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:      The spokesman for Queen Mary Hospital (QMH) made the following update today (January 15) regarding a patient leaving the hospital without notification earlier:        A 32-year-old male patient left the QMH Accident and Emergency Department without notifying hospital staff on January 12. The hospital contacted him at around 11.50am today and will continue to follow up on his condition.
