Advanced Proenergy urges battery regulators to support battery technology manufacturers
Advanced Proenergys Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Alistair Tan commented on the global battery issue saying The global battery industry employs a huge number of people in plants across the globe working in advanced lead battery manufacturing and recycling. We want energy to be sustainable and green and we strongly desire to develop a new industrial strategy based on the economic principles for green technology.
The world urgently needs the development of a battery industrial strategy and by doing this, there will have to be great investment. We already have a successful advanced battery manufacturing facility where our batteries are manufactured and we use renewable energy. Analysts predict that demand for battery energy storage is set to jump massively by 2050 and many factories will aim to achieve zero carbon emissions, so we must grab this opportunity to strengthen our battery manufacturing capability by being a world-leader in green battery technologies, added Alistair Tan, Chief Technology Officer of Advanced Proenergy.
