Braxton Berrios injury upgrade: Major obstacle for the Giants as WR reveals season-ending knee surgical treatment

Braxton Berrios stated Tuesday he is having season-ending surgical treatment on the injury that knocked him out of the New York Giants’ NFL video game Sunday versus Arizona.

New York City Giants Coach John Harbaugh on Monday stated Berrios was handling a foot or ankle injury from a punt return. Berrios was getting examined today before the group required to decide whether to put him on hurt reserve.

Berrios revealed his status on social networks on his 31st birthday after getting the news previously Tuesday, stating it was “time to rebuild.”

“Two of my last 3 seasons ended in this manner, and I ‘d be lying if I stated I wasn’t unpleasant today,” Berrios composed on Instagram. “I felt I belonged here this year, and whatever lastly fell in location. Now it seems like whatever I’ve put into the last 9 months is entered the blink of an eye.”

Berrios made it through simply 4 video games given that signing with the Giants in June. He played in 4 regular-season video games and one in the playoffs for Houston in 2025 after simply 6 with Miami the previous year.

The Giants turned to Charlie Jones as the returner after Berrios left late in the very first half and got eliminated midway through the 3rd quarter. Jones was signed to the active lineup off the practice team when Odell Beckham Jr. was launched, and Dalen Cambre is an alternative to get promoted now.

“Our very first appearance would be internally, yes,” Harbaugh stated Monday on a video call with press reporters. “We’ve got guys that have actually been here practicing who remain in the system, understand what they’re doing or are getting ready for this chance. … So, that would be our very first appearance. I’m sure we’ll turn over every stone, too. In some cases the finest stones are ideal under your feet. That would most likely be our relocation, I would believe.”
