Chris Evans signs up with the sets as My Darling California goes into production

The upcoming noir My Darling Californiadirected by Publication Dreams popularity Elijah Bynum, has actually started shooting with the primary cast, Chris Evans, Chris Pine, Jessica Chastain, Don Cheadle, and Mikey Madison signing up with the set.

Embed in the 80s, the movie focuses on a single criminal offense that connects the lives of a fallen news anchor, her unfaithful televangelist hubby, an ex-convict, 2 small-time crooks, and an emerging nation artist. Explaining the movie as a “love letter to the darker side of California,” the makers state that these individuals’s fates assemble on the planet of criminal offense, deceit, and seduction.

Produced by Alex Coco, David Hinojosa, Sebastien Raybaud, to name a few, the movie has cinematography by Chayse Irvin. Last seen in the 2025 movie CompromiseEvans waits for the release of Avengers: Doomsdayin which he repeats Steve Rogers/Captain America. Chris Pine’s Carouselon the other hand, had a Sundance best early this year, and he has Alpha Gang and The Catch in the pipeline. When It Comes To Jessica Chastain, her Other Mommy and Heartland will debut back-to-back in October and November, respectively.
