District Council Member’s resignation from workplace

The Government got today (September 26) a composed notification from Tai Po District Council (DC) member, Ms Wong Pik-kiu, pursuant to the District Councils Ordinance (Cap. 547) (the Ordinance), to resign from workplace as a DC member due to health factors. Ms Wong likewise resigned at the very same time from her responsibilities as member of the Tai Po South Area Committee and captain of the Tai Po Kwong Fuk and Plover Cove sub-district Care Team. The Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, Miss Alice Mak, stated Ms Wong has actually served in the district for several years, and appreciates her choice.
