Cardiovascular disease, commonly known as heart disease, is on the rise owing to poor lifestyle choices, unhealthy diet practices, excess alcohol consumption, smoking and unregulated use of certain medicines. Allopathic medications and surgeries may seem an easy option to treat heart conditions but they have their own share of side effects and in some cases even surgery is not possible.
Nature is actually a treasure that needs to be explored. Many researches are being carried out to study the role of different herbs in treating heart disorders. Dr. Aggarwal’s Ayurvedic Panchakarma & Research Centre has developed such treatment techniques combining these unique Ayurvedic herbs along with Diet and lifestyle that play an important role in preventing and reversing heart disease.
Certain herbs and supplements may help in fighting atherosclerosis, lowering the risk for heart disease and treat heart issues.
Following the Ayurvedic path, Dr. Shridhar Aggarwal has successfully treated many heart disease patients worldwide.
Recently a patient of cardio renal failure presented at Dr. Aggarwal’s Ayurvedic Panchakarma & Research Centre with low EF and many associated issues got complete relief within 6 months of Ayurvedic treatment. He had water in lungs (pleural effusion) with creatinine on the rise. He was also facing issues like breathlessness, body ache & his condition was not improving since 1 year of Allopathic treatment at one of the renowned hospital in Delhi. 15 days of Ayurvedic treatment at Dr. Aggarwal’s helped in normalization of Creatinine & recovery from low urine output. After a month patient started feeling better and there was no breathlessness and water in lungs diminished. The patient’s Ejection Fraction also improved from 20 % to 45 % in 6 months of treatment.
“Ayurvedic treatment can help cardiac patients diagnosed with blockages” Dr. Shridhar Aggarwal Added.
More and more research needs to be done on Ayurvedic herbs, medicines and formulations so that everyone can benefit from Ayurveda without any side effects. Allopathic medicine no doubt gives results within hours but also yields unavoidable side effects which further increments the issue. So, an alternative treatment is required that can take care of the problems related to heart diseases which is easily available with Indian system of medicine i.e. Ayurveda which still needs to be explored and recognized.
