Sohan Lal Commodity Management (SLCM), India’s leading agri services solutions provider with operations across India & Myanmar has been recognized at the 5th edition of Frost and Sullivan’s Project Evaluation and Recognition Program 2018. The company has been conferred with the “Jury’s Special Mention Award” under “Smart Products & Solutions” category in “Service Sector” based on the jury evaluation results of the project report on ‘Agri Reach’. Mr. Ankur Jaipuria, Chief Business Officer and Ms. Varnika Kukreja, GM- Corporate Communication, SLCM Group, received the award from Mr. Rajesh Khanna, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer- Wendt India and Mr. Nitin Kalothia, Director- Frost & Sullivan at the award function held on 6th December at “Hyatt Regency, Sahar Road, Mumbai”. The event was attended by 500+ leading industry leaders and decision makers from across industry sectors.
‘Agri Reach’ is SLCM’s in-house developed scientific technology which is proven to reduce post-harvest losses considerably, duly validated by leading national and international organisations. It is a Real Time Process Management System, developed over a significant period of time. This system is agnostic to infrastructure, location, or crop to enhance efficiency and transparency. The efficacy of SLCM’s warehouse management system has been credited by FICCI with the potential to reduce India’s post-harvest losses of 10% to a minimal 0.5%. It has already become part of the standard operating procedure for its technology enabled network of more than 3012 warehouses and 19 cold storages of the company across India.
