The Temmos Group is the first French hotel operator to integrate PickupTracking for optimized revenue management

Berlin, 4 December 2018: Fairmas GmbH, specializing in hotel financial planning and management reporting tools, has acquired the Temmos Group as the first PickupTracking customer in France. The Berlin software company is steadily growing its presence in the neighboring European country, following the implementation of FairPlanner – the main product of Fairmas – by the luxury hotel institution Ritz Paris in mid-2018.

Chamonix enjoys an exceptional location that has earned its title, “world capital of skiing and mountaineering”. It is situated at the base of the Mont Blanc that borders France, Switzerland and Italy. In order to keep up with their destination’s popularity of welcoming guests all year round, the Temmos Group wanted to maximize their hotels’ performance by utilizing the Fairmas PickupTracking software – the automated monitoring tool that records daily hotel reservations on the books (OTB) and their changes (pickup).

PickupTracking allows users to view the daily reservations data at a glance – with all relevant key figures (KPIs) of their booking situation, including changes for the next 365 days. Each hotel can optimize their daily revenue management and be proactive in adjusting their sales measures to achieve targets accordingly. At the same time, the hotel operator benefits from increased transparency with real-time observation of their hotels’ performance that ultimately support them in critical decision-making.

PickupTracking is integrated into a hotel’s existing IT environment through an interface to the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS). This guarantees accuracy through the automated data transfer. Fairmas has a broad list of existing interfaces to various PMS.

Four hotels of the Temmos Group use the PMS “HMS” from the company Infor. Working together in close collaboration, Fairmas and Infor have created a completely new interface to implement PickupTracking. The fifth hotel, Mercure Chamonix les Bossons Hotel, uses the FOLS integrated PMS developed exclusively by AccorHotels and is currently in the PickupTracking rollout phase.

“We are pleased to add two more interfaces, HMS and FOLS, to our extensive list of PMS connectivity. Through this, we try to resolve one of the main challenges within the hotel industry today – lack of technology integration,” says Robin Sedlaczek, Chief Technology Officer of Fairmas GmbH.

The complete implementation of PickupTracking is possible within 24 hours given the availability of an interface to the hotel PMS.

PickupTracking is available in five languages including English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese. For more information or to request for a demonstration, please visit www.pickuptracking.com.
