Arshiya International starts Middle East road transportation services
Arshiya Transport, a subsidiary of Arshiya International Limited, India, has commenced elaborate and far reaching road transport services managed from its offices in Dubai. A fleet of 1,250 owned and leased vehicles and a similar number of trailers will be on the road during 2009 and 2010.
Five blue chip companies have already entered contracts with Arshiya Transport for their Middle East transportation requirements which will be catered by more than 75% of the above planned fleet in the next two years.
Arshiya Transport has the ability to cover all Middle East countries with both LTL and FTL services and virtually any type of trailer is available, including any type of flat beds, low beds, reefers and curtain siders. Specialized equipment can also be made available, such as for instance tankers and bulk carriers. The fleet will be managed by Arshiya Transport’s own Transport Management System, which can be linked to customer’s IT systems, and GPS tracking will be made available for end-to-end visibility.
Arshiya Transport’s services are complimented by those of its sister companies BDP Middle East and India (3PL), Arshiya Supply Chain Management Middle East (4PL) and Genco India (4PL), as well as the FTWZ and Rail operations in India. This thus completes Arshiya International’s ability to manage and optimize the complete global supply chain for its customers in these areas.
