
Ricocheting lively music, cheering audiences, energetic milieu at the relics of heavenly Qutub Minar. The third day of celebrated ‘Qutub Festival’ took the city to a mystical expedition today. Creating a grand tuneful euphoria, Bollywood Nightangle Shreya Ghoshal charmed the audience with her vivacious performances. The superstar with a sugary voice took the capital to a numinous world by droning her super hits songs in her alluring voice.
The flamboyant celebration of modern Bollywood music ‘Qutub Festival’ is being organized by the Department of Art, Culture and Languages, (Govt. of Delhi) and Punjabi Academy is an initiative taken by Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi.
“The reverberating, tuneful symphony of music presented by the bubbly and effervescent vocalist Shreya Ghoshal shaped a gripping impression on the listeners. The audiences were attached to the melodious and entertaining performance given out by the musical sensation,” said Mr. Rawail Singh, Secretary, Punjabi Academy.
Shreya Ghoshal an illustrious play back singer has been continuously working and recording songs with many music directors for more than a decade now. She has recorded film songs not only in Hindi but also in Assamesse, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Nepali, Oriya, Tamil, Telegu, etc. She has been performing all over the world and captivating audience with her charming personality. She has won a lot of national awards and state awards.
She sang many of her well acclaimed numbers like Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai, ,Honth Raseele Mere Honth Raseele, Chikni Chameli, Ooh La La La , Tujh Me Rab Dikhta Hai, Tere Vaaste Ishq Sufiyana and Dama Dam Mast Kalandar, Teri Meri Prem Kahani, Saans Me Meri , Zoobi Zoobi Nache Lag Jaa Gale, Ajeeb Dastan Hai and Dil To Hai Dil Dil Ka etc.
Commenting on the powerful response of Dellhites, the musical marvel Shreya Ghoshal said, “It is the second time I am performing for this musical event. I am overwhelmed by the response of the audience. It was an amazing experience, Delhi has one of the most energetic and lively audience. There are numerous music lovers in the capital who understand and love all kinds of music. I would love to come next year as well.”
Qutub Festival will be immersed in a musical ambience tomorrow as gems of music industry Arif Lohar will enthrall the audience. While, the festival will bid adieu with popular Bollywood singer Mohit Chauchan.
