To touch 230 MT per day production with an additional investment of Rs 40 crore
New Delhi, January 4, 2017: In a bid to tap major chunk of business in country’s F&B segment, leading processed food manufacturer Bikano chalks out plans to increase its production capacity to over 230 MT ( metric tons) by adding additional 50 MT per day manufacturing facility in its existing units. The company has also set aside an investment of Rs 40 crore to fund modern machines and technologies to augment additional production capacity.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Manish Aggarwal,Director, Bikanervala foods Pvt. Ltd, said, “We are happy to announce that our plants will now be able to produce 230 MT of products per day in order to meet the increasing demand from our customers. Bikano has always been one of the most preferred brands in processed food industry and so does we are expanding our manufacturing capacity in order to serve more people of India.”
The proposed plan is part of company’s ongoing investment to expand. The plant, will incur investments around Rs 40 crore with modern machines and technologies, Aggarwal added.
At present, Bikano has three manufacturing plants which are in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Rai ( Haryana) and in Delhi with the total production capacity of 184 metric ton per day serving 130 outlets with major concentration in Delhi/NCR.Bikano is growing with the rate of 25 percent each year and claims to reach up to the mark of 1000 Cr. by the financial year of 2019 as per the statistics.
