In celebration of the 60th year of Philippines-Japan Friendship and Diplomatic Relations, the Far Eastern University President’s Committee on Culture and Dramatis Personae Foundation, an alternative multi-media and events company, will stage an adaptation on the biography of controversial Japanese writer Yukio Mishima’s life and political suicide (hara-kiri). Based on the biographies of Henry Scott Stokes and John Nathan, “Mishima: Confessions of a Mask” rings true even in today’s current socio-political maneuverings and re-imaginings.
