Hyderabad: 27th September, 2016: Mercure Hyderabad KCP recently organised “Employee Celebration Week” as part of countrywide celebrations at all AccorHotels’ properties recognising the employees relentless efforts in delighting guests, delivering highest standards of service and contributing to each property’s as well as AccorHotels success in India. The week long celebrations at Mercure Hyderabad KCP witnessed an array of colourful events to promote the hotel team’s bonding and appreciating the hard work that they put in during the year. The celebrations were all about commemorating success, strengthening relations and rejoicing every moment.
The theme behind this year’s “Employee Celebration Week” at all AccorHotels properties, including Mercure Hyderabad KCP, was “Perfect 10” to commemorate the Group’s completion of ten successful years in India. AccorHotels India attributes every success milestone in the country to the Group’s employees who help AccorHotels live up to its brand promise – “Feel Valued” and demonstrate their commitment to new Group value – “Guest Passion” in all actions.
As part of the celebrations and in line with the “Perfect 10” theme, employees at Mercure Hyderabad KCP came up with a series of entertainig acts and activties to spread the gaiety while also helping the team members build stronger bonds with each other. The celebration was inaugurated with Special Breakfast for night shift and morning shift with the leadership team.The Engineering and Security Team organised a skit titled “Sardar Gabbar Singh ka Adda” with a punch line “Ab Gabbar ka PWD chalega (Power waala Danda)”. Team Front Office & House Keeping were not behind and conducted Arabic themed activites on the next day. Team members dressed as Sultan & Sultanas, served authentic Arabic food to the staff with music and dance. The third day’s event was “Chak de patte”, a Punjabi affair which was full of life and colours conducted by Sales & Marketing, Admin, GM office & finance.The décor was set up in style of a Punjabi dhaba and was named as “Pinky Da Dhaba”. The entire team named themselves as Pinki and greeted all the staff in Bhangra style. The staff was delighted with the surprise of Popcorn Khao Mast Ho Jao Matinee show and enjoyed their time with lemonade, tea, coffee & snacks. The week long celebration culminated with F&B team paying an homage to the Mother Nature by conducting various activities throughout the day on the theme “Prakruti”, appreciating nature’s bountiful gift of the beautiful environment to mankind and ways to protect it. Employees at Mercure Hyderabad KCP throughly enjoyed actively participating in other fun-filled activities such as a cleanliness drive, games and competitions including foosball, carrom, chess and darts.
The much awaited Mercure Star Night was the highlight of the celebrations at Mercure Hyderabad KCP wherein a gala dinner for all employees was organised. The Mister and Miss Mercure pageant witnessed participants come dressed in their best attires and showcase their commendale talents. Karan Kumar Moudge, Duty Manager – Front Office, was awarded Mr. Mercure and Manali Banerjee, Assistant Manager – Marketing, was adjudged as Miss Mercure at the event.
