New Delhi, September 19: In a bid to expand its global reach India’s first Alkaline water purifier manufacturing company Bluemount RO is planning to set up its base across SAARC & BRIC nations. According to its plan the company intends to set up its base in SAARC countries such as Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and in Bangladesh in its first phase while the second phase of expansion will include BRICS countries like Russia, China amongst others.
“We would like to expand our reach to almost 40 countries in next 2-3 years. To start with we already have set up our base in Afghanistan through dealership route and expected to create our strong presence in most of the SAARC countries & BRIC countries by 2016-17,” said Mr. Vishal Gupta, MD, Bluemount RO.
Delhi headquartered Bluemount RO purifiers is the first Alkaline based water purifiers have been aggressively pursuing export options and have successfully appointed one major distributor in every country and will provide service & training to create credibility in these countries.
Commenting on the strategy Mr. Gupta have also said, “ Bluemount as a company does not want multiple dealers in one country to create competition within hence we have appointed one dealer per country and they will decide on the local strategy to take our products to the next level.”
The company is expected to add 15 per cent to its topline through exports and to create 2,500 global dealers in next one year. Keeping the targets simple for every country the aim is to capture 5% of the market share in each country by the end of this FY.
